Landscape works best on phones. Steer with your left thumb; use the pedals with your right. Hold brake at rest to reverse. Drag the terrain to orbit the camera; pinch to zoom. A is automatic, M is manual, 4×4 is crawl mode.

Adds a regular wave pattern to the sand in races and Free Ride. Turn it off for irregular dunes. Applying restarts the session.

3D GARAGE · EXPLORE 20 MODELS ↗

Select a model to swap your vehicle, including while driving. In the 3D garage, click a car to select it and toggle its turntable.

New corners, terrain and 4–10 ramps in three heights: low, medium and high.

The same seed recreates the same circuit. Both mirrors also work on generated tracks.

ORIGINAL · VARIANT 1 / 4Combine both mirrors for four layouts. Changing the layout resets the race.

Brake before tight corners and accelerate out. Use LO for steep climbs, and crawl mode with differential locks when traction is scarce.

Hold an arrow to steer. Release to center automatically. Steering becomes gentler at speed.

Manual: Q down, E up, B neutral. Sequence R → N → 1 → …; clutch is automatic. On R, W/↑ accelerates and S/↓ brakes. Stop before changing direction; downshifts protect against over-revving.

A/M controls gear shifting. HI/LO selects the transfer-case range. Crawl mode adds reduction and differential locks. Enter crawl or change locks below 8 km/h. Keys 1–4 select modes; Z/X toggle front/rear locks.

Swap engines during a session. The menu pauses driving; closing it resumes with your new engine.

AT-A-GLANCE GENERATION COMPARISON · U.S. MODEL YEARS

Options vary by year and market. * Gen 3 initially retained the 351M. † The U.S. Gen 5 I6 option was limited to the early part of the generation. EFI was introduced before Gen 5; Gen 4 transitioned engine by engine.

ENGINE PERFORMANCE

Ideal flat-ground drivetrain benchmark, not factory specifications: stock engines, same selected chassis, AUTO high-range gearbox, no nitro or upgrades. Suspension, slopes, tire slip and collisions affect actual racing. 0–50 km/h is timed from rest; final speed is measured after 60 seconds. “—” means the target was not reached.
